Claim Your Account

If you are a new student or if your account has been inactive for more than 180 days, you must "Claim Your Account" to activate your MyMC account.

You will need your MyMC ID (Username) and Student ID number (M number).

Claim Your MyMC Account (video).

  1. Go to www.montgomerycollege.edu and click on Access MyMC

  2. Click on Claim Your Account.

  3. Enter your MyMC ID M#.

  4. Read and click Accept Information Technology Policy.

  5. Click Next on "Claim Account - User Details".

  6. Complete security questions & click Submit.

  7. Create new password and click Submit.

  8. Click OK on pop-up to confirm password re-set.

  9. Exit the screen and go back to Access MYMY (or click the link below) and log in using your new password.

  10. Once you sign in, set up your 2-Factor- Authentication DUO MOBILE PUSH by following the steps prompted on your computer. Note: you will have to download the DUO Mobile App on your mobile device to continue. If you need additional support with this step, call the IT Help Desk 240-567-7222.
