Did you know that Duo Push, MC’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) solution is a more convenient way to authenticate than SMS Passcodes? Do yourself a favor and download the Duo Mobile app from your smartphone app store. Duo Push works by sending you a “Push” request. A simple “tap” to approve the login request is all it takes to authenticate.
The benefits of using the Duo Mobile app include:
- No need to check a text message to gain a passcode.
- Internet access or cell reception not available? No problem!
- Tap your MC account in the Duo Mobile app to reveal the six-digit authentication passcode.
- Set up is easy: Follow the Duo Push Instructions below.

You may enable Duo Push using the MC Device Management Portal. Go to the MC Device Management Portal. The system will prompt you to authenticate:

After entering your MyMC username and password, authenticate with SMS passcode:

In the MC Device Management Portal, you will see your Duo registered devices. Choose “I have a new phone”.
Note: This is how you make edits to your existing phone or a new phone with the same phone number.

Follow the prompts to set up Duo Mobile:

Choose “Send me a passcode”:

Download the Duo Mobile app from the App store or Google Play onto your device; choose Next:

Open Duo Mobile, choose “Add +”, then select “Use QR code”. Scan the code:

Duo Mobile is now activated. Choose Duo Push when authenticating to MC Duo protected applications, such as MyMC, Microsoft Office 365, VPN, and others.
